Abstract : In the digital age, the human resources recruitment sector faces trust crises such as fabricated educational backgrounds. Traditional background verification methods suffer from inefficiency, high costs, and susceptibility to tampering. Blockchain technology, with its decentralized, immutable, and traceable characteristics, offers a novel solution to address educational background verification challenges and establish a trustworthy recruitment system. This paper first analyzes the current status and existing issues in educational background verification and human resources recruitment trust systems. It then explores the advantages of applying blockchain technology in this field. Subsequently, it proposes a blockchain-based approach for educational background verification and recruitment trust system construction, including system architecture design, role allocation for stakeholders, and operational workflows. Practical case studies demonstrate the application effects of blockchain technology. Finally, it identifies current implementation challenges and proposes corresponding countermeasures. The research indicates that blockchain technology can effectively enhance the efficiency and accuracy of educational background verification, strengthen trust in recruitment processes, and holds significant implications for the healthy development of the human resources industry. Keywords blockchain technology; educational background verification; human resources recruitment; trust system
